Commemorative silver coin “Templar Legacy”

The obverse of the Templar coin depicts a Templar, a member of a military and spiritual order that was founded during the Crusades in 1119. The Templars were a very influential order in the 12th and 13th centuries and owned extensive land holdings in the states established by the Crusaders in Palestine and Syria, as well as in Europe. The knights of the order built many castles that served as safe accommodations for travelers and special banks for depositing money and making payments. During the heyday of the Templars, it was one of the most influential orders. Legends and historical research suggest that after the Templar Order was crushed, the organization changed and adopted new symbols and ideas. However, the basic principles, including brotherhood, mutual help, religious tolerance, secrecy, a desire to know the truth, and loyalty to spiritual and moral values, remain the same and unite the Freemasons and Templars. This commemorative coin is a tribute to the symbols of history. The earliest known coins were minted from a gold and silver alloy around 700 BCE in Lydia (Western Turkey). In Pharaonic Egypt and ancient Rome, money was a medium of exchange. The Templar Order turned coins into a banking instrument and introduced clear monetary criteria and standards.

The reverse of the coin shows the image of a Masonic temple, with three columns, a holy scripture that unites all religions and believers, a hammer used in construction and in court decisions, and a flywheel and ruler, which are the construction marks of the Masonic Temple of Humanity. In the center of the coin is the letter G, which stands for geometry, which was considered the queen of all sciences in ancient times.
