I lead a solitary life, for I am a creature of the night. People call me an evil spirit, the harbinger of doom, or even the Devil itself. You better leave me alone or suffer the consequences because my crimson glare will make your blood curdle, and my piercing shriek will send shivers down your spine!

Watch your step carefully, for the darkness is my home, and the misty billabong is my refuge. Here I spend my days lurking in obscure waters, gliding through the shadows, rarely seen by others – only the occasional ripples I make betray my presence. Be warned – I am not kind to trespassers! Those who are unlucky to glimpse my ghastly form never enter the water again. Can you guess where I am from?
